In view of the special nature of External Joint Supervision Program in comparison with traditional graduate studies and scholarship system at the university, where the educational method and follow- up of the student are unique, thus, the university is fully aware of the importance of providing scientific opportunities for lecturers and teaching assistants to complete their postgraduate studies especially in PHD programs as their colleagues in the male section. 

 According to the requirements of work at EJSP, the formation of rules and regulations for External Joint Supervision Program is required which is the building block to create and implement (EJSP) program in line with changes that occurred during previous experiences.   

Accordingly, the standing committee of the External Joint Supervision Program has prepared and authorized a comprehensive and organizational rules of the program which have been approved by the university council at its ninth session that held on 26/7/1435 H. This version of the rules and regulations includes a brief introduction  

about External Joint Supervision Program and its strategies. Furthermore, it consists of an explanation of the rules and regulations that govern the tasks and responsibilities for EJSP staff. The rights and obligations for each of the external and internal supervisors, EJSP students and EJSP enrollee. 

The updated version was approved by the university council at its third session for the academic year 1443 H  dated on 27/3/1443 H.
