Attending Conferences
The Requirements to apply for attending a conference and the procedures of reimbursement of conference fees and assignment allowance.
Students are entitled to attend three conferences during the study period, provided the submission of scientific paper at the conference. The application for attending a conference should be submitted 3 months earlier.
The steps to apply for attending a conference:
- Filling Attending a Conference Form https://symp.moe.gov.sa/ by faculty members at universities in Saudi Arabia to participate at conferences and seminars held worldwide.
- Providing all the information about the conference.
- Attaching the scientific paper accepted by the conference with an evidence.
- Submitting the form with all the attachments to the General Supervisor of the Program for the approval to attend the conference.
- Providing all the requirements to the student’s college for the approval of department board and the dean.
- When the application is accepted, all the requirements will be submitted to the Dean ship of Human Resources.
- Upon the application approval, a ticket order is issued.
- A report about the conference is required by using an official report form of the Ministry of Higher Education website.
- Filling the assignment form at the Dean ship of Human Resources.
- Preparing a letter of assignment allowance request and the reimbursement of conference fees with a receipt to the Dean Ship of Human Resources and the report about the conference and the form.
- Sending a copy of all the application requirements to the administration of EJSP to save it at the student’s file.
- A copy of issuing the allowance and compensation is required to the administration of EJSP to save it at the student’s file.
