Internal Supervisor from KSU 

He is a faculty member who was nominated by the college and the department to be the student’s mentor and his assistant supervisor. 

 

The internal supervisor’s rights  

  1. The supervision of each thesis will be regarded as teaching two academic units. 

  1. The university will cover all the round-trip tickets to the external university and an assignment allowance for the visit will be paid. 

  1. If the internal supervisor is a female faculty member, a round-trip ticket will be paid for the guardian. 

 

The internal supervisor from KSU obligations: 

 

  1. Providing mentorship to the enrolled student with the aim of overcoming all the obstacles in finding an admission at an external university. 

  1. The assistance of student to overcome any scientific or research difficulties that she encounters during her study. 

  1. Effective cooperation with the external supervisor to support the student in the aim of obtaining the degree during the regular study period. 

  1. participating in supervision of the scientific research of the student. 

  1. Communicating with the external supervisor with regard to the implementation of research thesis. 

  1. Participating in visit plans which are appropriate to obtain the degree during the study period in coordination with the external supervisor and the student as planned. 

  1. Confirming that the student has presented a workshop starting from the second year of study. 

  1. Facilitating for the student all research requirements that consist of materials or scientific equipment in coordination with EJSP and the department. 

  1. Participating in the coordination of the external supervisor’s visit program with the department and the student for each visit. 

  1. Attending meetings of the student and the external supervisor with the program’s administration if necessary. 

  1. Preparing and submitting a detailed bi-annual report about the student and providing the report to the program’s administration. 

  1. The accreditation of the bi-annual report which is prepared by the student about his study. 

  1. Notifying the program’s administration in case of negligence of the student or irregularity during the study period. 

  1. Visiting the external university once during the study period if necessary for five days in coordination with the student’s visit in the aim of meeting with the student and the external supervisor to discuss the study results and being up to date with the new techniques in the field. 

  1. Submitting a report about the visit of the external university to EJSP. 

  1. Being up to date about EJSP and attending meetings.
