How to Apply to EJSP

First: the teaching assistant or the lecturer should apply for joining the programme by submitting a request to the head of the department to. Then, her request is proposed tot the Departmental Board so as to check that all the requirements of the EJSP are met.

Second: those who ful fill the EJSP requirements are approved based on the recommendations of the Departmental Board of the teaching assistants or the lecturer. After that, the applicant’s request is sent to the college dean to propose it or the College Board.

Third:To join the EJSP program fill in the following form requesting approvals from both the Department and College Board on the link .

Fourth: the request of those who meet the EJSP requirements is approved, based on the recommendations of the Departmental Board of the teaching assistant, and is sent to the General Supervisor of EJSP to propose it to the Interview Committee. This committee then sends its recommendations to the Standing Committee to consider the application.

Fifth: the approval of the General Supervisor of the programme is issued clarifying the following:

    1. That enrolled teaching assistant or lecturer is not granted a full study-leave when joining the programme until getting acceptance from the external university. After that, an administrative decision is issued to start the study in the external university by the Human Resources Development Department of the university. This approval is based on the Rector’s endorsement which is based on the approval of the Standing Committee for the Scholarship and Training committes this is also based on the recommendation of the Standing Committee of the EJSP which itself is based on the recommendations of the General Supervisor and the Departmental Board as well as the College Board to grant the student a full study leave for the normal period of study at the  programme.

Sixth: the college and the department of the teaching assistant or the lecturer must be notified about the administrative decision issued by the General Supervisor of the programme allowing the applicant to join the programme.
